DAY ONE
Arrive Cape Town early morning. Car transfer to accommodation. Take a rest.
Afternoon explore Waterfront, cable-car to top of Table Mountain if weather is suitable, otherwise possibly
Robben Island tour.
DAY TWO
Cape Point Tour
Follow the scenic coast road to Scarborough for coffee stop and exploration of the beautiful white sand
beach with magnificent rocks one end and a small lagoon the other.
Continue to The Cape of Good Hope National Park, to see the incredible fynbos and animals including giant tortoises,
ostriches paddling in the surf, baboon families, zebra and buck.
At the Point take the funicular railway up to the lighthouse, climb to the top for amazing view all around False
Bay and out over the South Atlantic. The Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet here and cause whirlpools and huge breakers.
The restaurant at the bottom of the railway is excellent for lunch.
Continue exploration of the Park then continue round the False Bay coast to Boulders Beach (you can swim and sunbathe
with the penguins if you wish), walk along the cliff path to the breeding area where you see thousands of penguins on
their nests on the beach.
Next to historic Simonstown, the home of the South African Navy, with old colonnaded shops and pretty harbour.
Tea overlooking the harbour.
Home via Red Hill, for fantastic views, on over Silvermine Mountain and through the Constantia Valley.
DAY THREE
West Coast
Early morning head through the City and take the coast road north to Langabaan, a large and very beautiful lagoon
set in the West Coast National Park. The area teems with tortoises and there are numerous birds and other wildlife
and flora. Lunch stop.
Continue north along the coast to Elandsbaai, have special braai dinner on the beach and stay the night with
Cornelia - an unforgettable experience! This area is mostly unmade but very good roads.
DAY FOUR
Short drive to Lamberts Bay and Bird Island to see thousands of gannets nesting.
Turn inland through the Cedarberg with mile upon mile of vineyards, to Clanwilliam then pick up the N7 and head
south along the Reservoir to Citrusdal for lunch. Over the Middlesburg Pass to Kagga Kamma for 2 nights.
DAY FIVE & SIX

100 km into 'the nothing' of the Klein Karoo, you will stay in a spacious and comfortable chalet with all mod.cons.
and enjoy utter peace and stark beauty. The main buildings have a bar and meals are taken there or in the outside braai
area. Further down there is a wonderful large spring fed pool surrounded by immaculate lawn, with shade from trees and
a cliffside with cave paintings.
You can take a night game drive which includes stopping for a talk on the stars - the night sky is amazingly clear and
detailed, an early morning game drive to include picnic breakfast, a safari to see rock paintings and learn about the
bushmen - some still live in the area and you can meet them. A must is the Sundowner trip some distance away by four-wheel
drive then a trek across a neighbour's property, sand dunes, rocks, crevasses, to a startling canyon 40 miles long and 2
miles deep, for a drink as the sun goes down.
DAY SEVEN
Over Mitchells Pass and Du Toitskloof Pass and drive through the Winelands including Franschoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl,
through the Hugenot Tunnel to Tulbagh. Explore the beautiful valley and night in a Cape Dutch 'H' house in Church Street,
a historic monument.
DAY EIGHT
The scenic R60 takes you through beautiful little towns such as Worcester, Robertson and Montague, passing through wine
and farming country and into the semi-arid Klein Karoo. Lunch at Barrydale before continuing on to Ladismith, Calitzdorp
and over the Hillsriver Pass to Outshoorn. Overnight at The Yot Club.
DAY NINE
Visit to Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm, afernoon to Bottlierskop for Game Drive and dinner, short drive to Mossel Bay
for night at The Point.
DAY TEN
Scenic coast drive passing through George and Wilderness to Knysna. Explore Lagoon and The Heads, and take sunset cruise
on the John Benn before dinner at The Waterfront. 2 nights at Brenton on Sea Hotel on the clifftops overlooking the ocean.
DAY ELEVEN
Along the coast to Tsitsikamma Forest and the Giant Yellowwood Trees, on to beautiful Storms River Estuary. Return to
Plettenburg Bay for lunch and afternoon. Back to Knysna for night.
DAY TWELVE
N2 towards Cape Town, stopping at the Aloes factory at Albertina. At Caledon turn onto the R320 to Hermanus for
sightseeing and lunch. Follow the scenic coast road through Bettys Bay and Pringles Bay round into False Bay, tea
at Gordons Bay and back to Hout Bay.
DAY THIRTEEN
At leisure
Explore locally, at the Harbour perhaps take glass bottomed boat to Seal Island, then visit Chapmans Peak. Evening at
The Waterfont for shopping and dinner
DAY FOURTEEN
At leisure
Robben Island or Table Mountain. Numerous local attractions in Cape Town.
DAY FIFTEEN
At leisure until flight home.
